Rachel Wise @ Wise Education and Behavior recently wrote a terrific article on the benefit of using graphic organizers to help students improve reading comprehension, writing, listening, note taking, and study skills.

" A graphic organizer provides learners with a visual representation of information, concepts, or ideas. Graphic organizers are often used to help children understand what they are reading or to organize information in order to report it, such as through writing or for an oral presentation like a speech. Graphic organizers can also be used to take notes while listening to a lecture." ~Rachel Wise
