In the search for funding for L.E.T.T.E.R.S.©, I recently learned that I need an elevator pitch. I wasn’t even certain what that was but my trusty advisor, Rosemary van Houttum, was intrigued and took on the challenge to find out. Rosemary discovered that an elevator pitch is exactly that. If I walk into an elevator I have approximately 20-30 seconds to deliver a pitch that will either inspire my audience to want to hear more or will leave them bored and unimpressed. My elevator pitch would make those 20 seconds potentially the most valuable time spent in my day.
With that truth in mind, I googled “elevator pitch” and found a very helpful series of articles by BigBadBulldog Marketing. I discovered some key points to help me with formulating my own core pitch.
So today I put together my own core elevator pitch.
